"Pilot" Seaberth
Close to the companionway (in case the person on watch requires assistance) and to the navigation station.
Long enough to stretch out (2m long) and wide enough for comfort in benign conditions (80 cm at shoulders) and 60 cm wide afterwards to prevent rolling in rougher conditions.
Possible shutters with louvers.
